Thank you Ed Chan and Roy Jones, et. al

Anyone else received a Porsche Cars North America letter for settlement of a class action law suit for our cars that are equipped with certain color dashboards that are defective due to the intensity of reflected images off the dashboard? Yes only certain colors of the dashboard are only affected - not black color dashboards.

So we get any where from $175 to $50 reimbursement for any out of pocket costs to lessen or minimize the windshield glare problem.

I qualified for a up to $75 reimbursement and need to show an invoice to claim such.
What shall I buy now? any one tried any of the many window films out there?

I just got the same letter in the mail. I have not done anything to address the glare issue. Do I need to have an invoice for tint to qualify???

too much of a hassle to meet their requirements

When my car isn't being driven during the day with the sun shining towards me, my car is garaged or I use an ill fitting sun shield when I leave it for more than a day outside (front and rear glass is shield).

The problem is driving in the sun and the glare that results from my light tan dashboard and interior hence my query into a windshield film darkening and protecting solution.

I heard of temperature lowering windshield films but will need to research more.
And I am not sure if this will meet the class action requirements either.

I should went with an all black interior.... not
