Optimal Bose EQ and Audio Settings for Monitor Quality Sound
Hello all,
Just recently got into my dream car, a 2011 997.2 Turbo S Cabriolet, and was less than impressed with the Bose Premium Sound. Surprisingly with the stock settings the bass was decent but muddy, but coming from my E92 335i with the logic 7 Premium there was much to be desired.
The best settings I found were Linear mode checked ON. Audiopilot off. Surround AUX ON. Bass to +5-6 and the rest at 0, some tracks treble +1.
This makes it very close in sound quality to my studio monitors at home. Bass becomes tamed with tighter kicks and smoother basslines. Give it a try and lemme know what you think, sounds better the louder it is. I mostly listen to tech house, deep house, underground house but I imagine it'd sound nice on most types of music.
