Dyno issues with dyno dynamics awd on 997 turbo tip

Hi,

tried to dyno my 07 997.1 turbo tip today and the tuner couldn't get the front to match up with rears on multiple settings.

anyone able to shed some light on what settings to use on a dyno dynamics dyno or should i just disconnect the front driveshaft.

if the latter, anyone got experience doing it on the tip and are there any dangers/pitfalls to look out for?

any help is appreciated

thanks
marek

Consider asking Dyno Dynamics.

For the AWD system in the 996 Turbo and C4s Porsche says to use a dyno that the rear rollers drive the front rollers.

I'm thinking that even though the AWD system of the 997 models is different that might still apply. With the front rollers being driven at the same speed as the rears this matches the on the road conditions and the car's engine/traction/stablity control systems then should work normally.
