Cup Cables for 997 (or not?)

I bought these a while ago from a forum classified listing after reading about the less than robust cables that come stock on the cars. I wasn't as well versed on the vehicle back then and I probably should have been able to note that what I was purchasing did not match up to what I wanted them to replace. I have been up and down the internet and forums and I can only find 1 reference to one of the cables in the set. All I do know is that the cable set does not match what I expect to see for cup cables (this first became evident when I started to look for the attachment pieces not included with the cables originally).

Has anyone seen this set before and do you know what their correct application is? At a minimum I think I need to source the correct second cable in the set (but I don't even know what that is) or just break down and buy the set over again.

Only 1 of the part numbers (997 424 050 900 returns anything in search, and it is from ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-997-single-GT3-Cup-shifter-cable-997-424-045-90-/381797826670

The other part number (997 424 045 90) gets me nothing, and it loos like a bicycle shift or brake cable and no way looks even close to what the second cable should look like.

Here are some shots of the cable:

Ends:

Before I go investing another $500 or so, I would like to know whether I made a mistake with this purchase or not, and also if they have any value to anyone else where I might be able to recuperate some of my expense.

TIA for any help,

Ed

Just an FYI, these are NOT 997 turbo 6MT cup cables. The guys at Numeric were kind enough to point that out. Numeric looks like they make some quality stuff, so I will probably get the cables from them, though I would like to get these cables to someone who can use them, which may be a 997 driver with a sequential shifter or some other set up for the strange cable I have. Still trying to nail down it's application.

I have the numeric cables and they are nice. Not too noisy and feel strong. Better shifter feel too.

As they are all metal (stock ones have plastic bushings etc) they transmit a bit of transmission "whine", more commonly on cold days. I heard the cup cables are even louder. It's not
terribly bothersome and the peace of mind of the stronger cables over stock is worth the slight racecar noise.
