997TT front shock Query

So going by the pic attached it shows two washers as number 8 below the shock mount. now when I stripped mine to fit new springs I only have one of these.

so should there be 2 and if there is only one which way round should it be ?the ones I took off were like the bottom 8 way round.

They are concave with the inner lower parts facing each other so that the outer edges that are raised up flare upward and downward from each other.

Thanks Ed it would appear I am a couple of washers short !,I had a look on design 911 which has the 3 parts diagrams for the Turbo-C4s and C2s together and it shows the turbo and 4s have 2 washers but the C2 only has one and is the other way round against the strut mount

I posted the same question on Rennlist and one of the guys had a picture of what he took off and only has 1 washer

Here you go. This photo is not showing the small washer that goes at the bottom of the strut cylinder but otherwise this is what makes up the strut components. I agree that the schematic appears to be incorrect, there are only 2 concave washers.
