I have attached a DME report on a 997.2 TTS I am looking at. I know a PDK car is less likely to over rev but thoughts on this report? Maybe it was tuned? The car has Sharkwerks headers and exhaust I think.

Total engine hours: 1538.72 h
Ignition range 1 - 465 @ 1485.12 h
ignition range 2 - 35 @ 1403.36 h

Car has 57,000 miles on it...the way I am reading it the car had average speed of 37 mph and the last over rev in range 1 was 53 engine hours ago. Maybe i am over thinking this but over revs in range 1 and 2 is not that bad right? Also with 360 ignitions per second this is probably nothing (465 in range 1 and 35 in range 2). Perhaps 35 is a glitch.

How about average speed of 37 mph? Car could have been tracked or maybe just highway miles?

On a pdk car range 1 and 2 readings are not uncommon. Going down hill during a down shift or holding in gear at the limit and a tuned engine are common reasons. Yes your range 1 total over revs are less than 1.5 sec and range 2 less than 0.1 sec so absolutely no issues. 37 average mph simply indicates it spent more time at hwy speeds than at low speed city use.

Thank you. The car also has fabspeed headers, Sharkwerks Xpipe and fabspeed tips. They are swapping in stock headers since the fabspeeds have a hairline crack on one side.
