Air Bag Fault - battery went flat
Air Bag Fault - battery went flat
Hi all, I have an Airbag fault on the dash. I have traced this back to the passenger side impact sensor. The first time i noticed it was when my battery went flat ( i was working on it and left a open ) so I charged it up via the main battery terminals behind the drivers seat. Since then the dash light has been on. Its also worth noting it had a new battery fitted by a main dealer just 18 months ago so i doubt the battery is at fault
My problem is i have tried to erase the code using my Foxwell NT530 scanner but as soon as it disappears on the dash it comes straight back again. There are no other faults listed on the scanner either
Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks

So there IS or IS NOT a fault with the side impact sensor?
What model Aston do you have?
Batteries going flat on these cars seems to invoke some havoc on some part of the car's electronics.
