997TT question about chrono and phone

I was looking at a car yesterday and noticed that the 6 speed was equipped with the chrono package and was wondering if someone could explain how the thing worked. It says you push the button and the car is enabled to deliver additional torque for a limited amount of time. My question is - does this stay engaged the entire time you drive the car or does it need to be reset after you use the 10 second period? I understand that it is activated at full throttle but does it remain activated after engaged or do you have a limited amount of time before it automatically disengages? Apologize in advance if this has been answered before. Also, is the NAV unit bluetooth compatable? Thanks.

The 997TT does NOT have Bluetooth. None of Porsche's cars have them. I think the Cayenne SUV has them though. You'd use your SIM card with the phone module in the Turbo.

No Porsche model has Bluetooth...yet. The current handsfree PCM telephone module works by placing a SIM card in a little slot to the left of the PCM screen. It actually works very well and the voice quality of the phone (even at highway speeds) is excellent. The only pain is that I ended up getting a separate line for my 997 so that I wouldn't have to keep taking the SIM card out. In Europe, they can clone SIM cards...we can't in the US... .

But, all I do is call forward my Verizon cellphone while I'm in the 997.
