Thumbs up FabSpeed Quality/Fit/Sound

Recently we put on some Fabspeed headers, cat bypass pipes, mufflers, and dual outlet tips on a 997 Turbo at the dealer I work at in CO. We are a very mod friendly dealer, and I wanted to put up some pics of the system. Awesome sound. I did not get to hear it under load or driving, only in-shop. What a difference! Looks awesome, fit was great, everything bolted and lined up perfectly. Fortunately, I have some pics. Unfortunately, they are camera phone pics, but pics none the less. Anyway, another nice product from the FabSpeed guys, and the tips really finish it from the back, looks great!
On a side note, we fired it up with only the cat bypass pipes in place, revved it up a bit and the car actually knocked the clock off of our shop wall about 20 feet away and about 10ft up a wall. Clock hit the floor and shattered the face. Fabspeed exhaust has definitely made a lasting impression at our place.

I just had Champion Motorsport install Fabspeed Mufflers, Tips and Headers and I love it...Thanks Stephen at IA for the parts ...Just curious the cat bypass may be the way for me but did you get a CEL after?

PS The exhaust quality is very nice and well made.

At the time the car left, it was setting faults for Cat efficency, but as of when it left no actual CEL, but more than likely, it's when, not if it comes on. According to FabSpeed, I believe they are still working the program for the cat bypass pipes to completely eliminate CEL issues. Great system, none the less.

lamvince is infamous around these partslamvince is infamous around these parts
I had the exhaust installed two days ago, yesterday I was driving and heard a large sound in the back, sounds like i hit something, but I did not. I pulled over and the engine stopped. I tried restarting it, the rpm goes up and down two times and then it drops to zero. What do you think the problem is?
If i bring it to dealer, do you guys think I should remove the exhaust? I am afraid that the dealer would void my warranty.

I can't speak for your local dealer, but if the problem was exhaust related, then it could prove an issue. If it was something completely unrelated, there shouldnt be a problem, like I said, I cannot speak for your local dealer, some would see the exhaust an "out" to warranty anything.

It may be a little late, but were you able to be get total weight savings of the Fabspeeds v.s. stock? If there is any weight savings, that location would be a great place to save it...behind the rear wheels
