I have a brand new Samsung Ip-830 world phone I need to get rid of. I am getting an iphone so will be switching to att. Phone is BRAND NEW. I just turned the phone on to make sure everything works. The phone is $499 from sprint with a two year contract. Here are the specs.

I guess its not unlocked?

 

Sprint and Verizon are on CDMA networks ( i think) and cant be unlocked.. only Tmobile and Cingular (GSM) phones can be unlocked... i could be wrong.

 

It is locked. I have never tried to have it unlocked and am not sure if it can be done.
