Local dealer here had a nice setup at The Palm. Arrived at 6, greeted by the dealer GM (who sold me my C4S Cab), open bar, munchies (can you call them that? Crab Cake, stuffed 'shrooms, etc)...very nice.

Out front three Turbo's - one a dealer Midnight Coupe, one a customer GT Silver Coupe, and the Atlas Turbo Cab, along with a few other assorted nice rides.

Saw a few local customers, met some nice folks, and the guest of honor was none other than Ryan Briscoe - the RS Spyder Porsche driver himself (and his stunning blonde 'friend' by his side).





Really nice guy, talked with folks, very at ease. I asked him about road courses and driving the RS.....one comment he made when asked about g-forces was that in the turns on a number of these courses he'll hit about 3.5 g's! Damn.

Oh, the car....I digress.

Yeah, nice indeed. Once you know these cars though, not much is surprising. Everything looks just like you'd expect it to. They did not give us any drive/seat time, just display. But the cars were open and we could sit in, etc. But overall a very nice evening. Cars were stunning indeed.

 

Boardwalk is doing it Saturday morning, got invitation the other day.. i think i will make it out dont know about food etc..

I did not bring the camera because we've all seen the cars already, nothing much new there. But the 'friend'...well, that's another story. Those pictures are just for me.
