V8 Vantage for Sale

Hot or not?

I quite like it, but the price seems pretty crazy.

its nice...looks terrible when the top is up...and i cant stand the volvo-esque interior. not worth the money to me.

They are asking pretty close to MSRP on the car. There are not many around so the price doesn't seem too out of line to me.

That's about MSRP - for a used car - and there are plenty around - two '07s, no real difference, not as heavily optioned, low miles, good colors, went for $108 and $112 -thats significant depreciation! Go to a AM dealer, ask for a discount, order exactly what you want and have the benefit of a direct connection with Aston. It's a pretty car, sounds great, but no super performance.

Not much for the top, but it is still an Aston Martin.

As they say: BUY IT!

Are you talkling about roadsters or coupes? I has seen very vew roadsters for sale and certainly not below 125k or so.

robbie 10-11-2007 10:23 AM

I like the look of the roadster. Not too crazy about the color combo. I would go for something more conservative interior wise.

I am surprised that the roadster has not come out with the manumatic. It should have been out by now.

bhsccb 10-11-2007 09:03 PM

Roadsters; '07 coupes $95-100. You might want to see your local dealer by the lake -offered $15k off sticker on 07s without negociating. I don't want to come off as bashing the car- I like it, it's just not holding value well

ManoverMatter 10-15-2007 10:03 PM

I like it.

Z0RR0 10-19-2007 11:45 AM

I thought you were talking about the real Aston V8 Vantage.

Good Lord.

Have more pics/info on that car?!?

Z0RR0 10-23-2007 02:05 PM

It's nothing more than the most amazing mainstream Aston Martin ever made. To my eyes, at least.
Based on the Virage (then on the V8 Coupe from 1996), it has custom more aggressive bodywork (obviously hand-built) and sports a twin supercharged V8, puts out between 550 and 600hp, depending on the version. It does weigh a hefty 2 tons, though.
Including all the special versions, less than 300 were ever built. Never made it to North America. :(
Some other pics, the one previously posted has NEEZ wheels instead of the stockers.:)

The nostrils mean it's the LeMans edition, 40 built.

Nice car, but too much money. The "real" Vantage was a bad ass car. Dynamically it wasn't anything to write home about, but it was fast and looked the part!
