another white Aston Martin Vantage
Hi all,
I took delivery of my 2008 Vantage coupe last month and I wanted to share some pics. The car is Stratus White with Bitter Chocolate interior and white stitching with Piano Black Center fascia and all the options. I have put 500 miles so far and the car is an absolute blast. I only had one problem so far: chirping sound coming from the engine and I took it to the dealer who said there was a technical bulletin to realign the pulleys. The car is perfect now and I have not had any of the problems experienced by earlier Vantage owners, which leads me to believe Aston is quite versatile in adjusting the assembly lines and parts supplier so problems don't keep happening. Solid build quality and am amazing exhaust and experience.
Thanks

Congratulations thats a stunning car and the colour combination is just perfect, the Stratus white is very nice but I would of gotten the metallic white which is the Morning Frost.
Enjoy it in the best of health.

The color is actually metallic and it has a nice subtle sparkle to it.

rezf - Congrats - looks great. I had the same "chirping" in my 2007 - dealer made the adjustment and it then started again. They kept the car longer the second time and found the bracket was actually"bent". First time they had seen this - I was quickly given a new part and the old one was sent back to factory (and I am sure a call to parts supplier). Only other issue was break pads - they started squeeking - they installed a back blate on pads - apparently Brembo is looking into this, as compound may need tweeked (but no stopping issue at all, just sound from pad "vibration" - I've had this on Pcar too) - I need to drive the car more in my opinion !!!
Enjoy the car ...
