piano black fascia glare problem?

I love the look of the piano black, however, I have heard it can reflect alot of light, creating glare problems on a sunny day. Any advice out there? I need to finalize my amv8 order by the end of the month and currently have aluminum alloy on the center console. thanks

My Vantage has it, and I've never had any problems with glare... living in Central Florida we have the occasional sunny day.

Had it in Cali. Never had a problem with glare. For me, it was a must have option.

Pratt, my car was supposed to come with pb fascia and came instead with the stock charcoal finish. I am mixed as I sat in a car with the pb finish next to mine and the reflection is much worse. I do like the look although it attracts dust very quickly. I had a cf intstument pod on a 355 some years back and had to have a special cloth cover made for it to use on sunny mornings. If you drive into the sun early or late on a regular basis, I would skip it. If not, may not be an issue but it is certainly more reflective.

Sales mangr. told me it has been an issue with several buyers.

I have Piano Black...Have not noticed any glare. Go with Piano Black, it makes the car infintely more appealing than the gunmetal trim

thanks again for the advice. I am really going back and forth on this decision. Of interest is that the dealer told me yesterday that for 09 models wood trim (center and doors) may be a factory option. This would be great as it would not delay delivery for 2 months, chich is what happens now if someone wants the wood trim put on at works service.

I don't have piano black and the glare during the day is so bad that my nav system is completely worthless.

I agree w/ Nav glare comment from parkedr - same issue w/ me on a sunny day and I do not have PB. also got some hint that your 2009 might just have 420 HP !!!!

dude - nice bling - LMAO

Also look to see a few less AM8's coming to USA for 2008 - rather than raise price they are cutting shipments (dealers buys) - all due to dollar value vs RoW (of course w/ todays crash RoW that might change - IMHO)

As is - I believe the chasis/breaks/power train can easily handle that kind of power increase ... hope they add the power.

Guess that is brakes ... not breaks ... then again the brakes can handle more HP too !!!

it would be nice if am would increase the hp to around 500hp, which they may do in a couple of years (so I've heard)
