Best looking/optioned Vantage I've seen

This is a new 2010 Vantage with some very nice options straight from Aston Martin. The options became available on new cars directly from Aston starting in 2010. Walking up to it, I was sure it was a DBS until I saw "Vantage" on the back, which could be removed if you are so inclined. The most noticeable upgrades I noticed were:

- DBS clear tail lights - looked great on this car. I think this is a $1700 option from AM if you want to buy them for a 09 or earlier Vantage.

- Bright silver wire mesh in the hood scoupes and side cuts. You can see this upgrade clearly in the photo. All other Aston's I"ve seen have this wire mesh colored dark, and on dark colored cars, there is no contrast and you don't notice the mesh wire. The bright siliver colored option looks really great.

- New rims - see the pic. I thought I liked the 09 rim a lot, but this 2010 rim was even better.

- Side flares along the bottom sides of the car - it is hard to notice this in the picture, but the bottom of the car has a little body kit type upgrade. It really makes the car more exciting then the earlier plain style. It also looks like the back of the car wraps better around the exhast pipes as compared to earlier models. I didn't think it was possible to change anything about this car's basic body shape to make it look better, but Aston has done it with this.

Thought I'd share and see what other's thought. This is the exact configuration I'd want in a Vantage. Inside was black leather with the red stitching and LED interior lights. Stunning car.

BTW, this car was at Lake Forest Sports Cars in Lake Bluff, IL. I detailed my experience there: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...vantage-5.html , and was really impressed with thier inventory and service and ease of test driving a new 09 Vantage. The guy's name was Adam.

the side skirts (or rocker panels, or whatever you want to call them) are how all 2010's are. gorgeous car, though. i could be mistaken, but i think the rims are part of the Sport Pack option, which also includes some suspension upgrades.

Every time this thread gets bumped, I can't help but click on each photo again. This car is simply stunning, and with the 4.7L upgrade since 2009, it seems owners of 09+ Vantages are no longer suffering power/speed depreviation, at least not badly ;). I really wish I had taken the photos with a regular camera for better resolution, but my sister took these when I was out on a test drive of a 09 Vantage.
