Aston Martin DBS market value
I've had a Vantage before and replaced it with a 430 Spider, which is absolutely awesome.
I'm thinking of adding now the DBS.....there is nothing that beats the "craftmanship" and elegance of the AM. With the release of the Virage....where do you guys see the DBS prices falling to? I've seen some '09's with around 14k miles going for as low as $139-$155k. Pretty good value if you ask me! If they drop to the $100-$120 range, I'll probably pull the trigger...question is when? |
Subscribed. This is an interesting topic. I've seen DBS as low as $139k... With vanquish making a return it's gonna be interesting to see what happens to the DBS market.

There's on 09 Volante with ~30k miles on it on Mainheim right now for 100k. The 05-08's are in the 65-90 range. You won't have any problems getting a car with reasonable miles in your price range in the next year or two (or sooner if you shop around).

I think once people start taking delivery of Vanquishes (and trade in DBS').. we'll see them dip to about 110ish. I really can't see it going below that for the time being.. since at that price point, many of us on here would snap them up =)

I thought DBS is only 09 and above??? What's this about 05 - 08?? Were DBS produced then for Canadian or European market?
But if the DBS comes into the $110k range that is a superb buy, but I have my doubts that a near $300k car would drop to near 1/3 it's value in say 4 years (2009->2013) |
Sorry, brain fart, read the title and thought it said 'DB9' :o

I think we will start seeing DBS drop to around 125 or perhaps as low as 115 simply because the focus will shift to vanquish and high end cars are not moving as quickly in this economy. DB9 will still remain a better value for the money but prices will stabilize shortly as the production run is more established at this point.

Next AM will definitely be a V12, and prefer the look and size of the DBS over the V12V. I'll be carefully watching the prices of the DBS in the next few months. I'm really liking the Casino Royale color. |
Also looks like the 2013 DBS will bump up HP from 510 to 550 and will have a different look. Personally I like the classic lines of the current DBS model.
The angularity of future cars sometimes carry harsh lines ala lambo... http://www.caranddriver.com/news/201...os-future-cars |
The 2013 with 550hp is the new Vanquish, which was discussed

Agreed, but part of the reason I sold my Vantage was it's lack of power. It was perfect in every other way. So I don't want to make that same mistake again by buying for "value" per say with a DB9.

Can someone comment om the rear "seats" of the DBS and compare to the DB9?
seems the DB9 seats are more "comfortable"...will the DBS rear seats accommodate a child's booster seat? |
