Glove Box

I recently purchased a 2000 AM db7 vantage and it didn't have a owners manual. However I can't locate a glove box and manual might be there. Where most cars have a glove box there is a small back speaker looking device that doesn't seem to open anything. Does this model have a glove box?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If nobody comes along here with an answer you might want to try amoc.org. Lots of DB7 owners & information there on the Bloxham forum.

The only internal storage in a DB7 is the center console. It is not big enough for the owners manual. Most DB7's have a removable trunk floor panel. Under there is storage space that includes netting to hold the manual, as well as access to the spare tire or inflate kit. If there is no manual, they often come up for sale on Ebay, though rather expensive.

yvr is correct, the AM owners forum (http://www.amoc.org) is a better place for information regarding AM vehicles older than 10 years.

You can also go to www.astonmartintechinfo.com and download all kinds of manuals (for a price). Costs about $100 for 24 hours last time I checked. Everything is PDF and you can download as much as you want or might need in future.

@Kathy13 -- You've got an Aston now. You found it in the boot :)

And congratulations on the new car. Pictures?
