Pure Aston Martin
When did that become the standart on startup vs power, beauty, soul ?

Not sure when, but I welcome the change.

I was also disappointed when I got my V12V. Even though "Power, Beauty, Soul" was a little cheesy at first, it grew on me and is more original than "Pure Aston Martin"
Maybe the dealer can re-program it at the yearly service?? This, however, is definitely a first world problem. |
Definitely !!

It was introduced for the 2011MY :)
It's in the guide ;) |

I also prefer "power, beauty, soul". I don't really understand the "Pure Aston Martin" thing... it's almost like they have to clarify you're in Aston Martin every time you start the car up, duh!

I felt the same way. I want the old one back or a 6000 BP refund😂
|
So "pure aston martin" is on the 2011 and 2012 models?
|
Yes also for some late 010MY cars. For the 011MY A.M. also changed the famous exhaust valve fuse from boot 22 to a new fuse number and introduced the new tyre pressure sensor system that shows the pressures in each of the 4 tyres via the OEL display ( not on V12V though!). The V8 emissions system was enhanced and the V8 has a new code making the engine Euro5 compliant in Europe. And an improved Bluetooth roof microphone was introduced.
Aston keep evolving all the models every year, which is a good thing IMO :) Edited to add the above is for Vantage there were also a host of additional changes for the DB9, like standard fit ADS, lots of new styling tweaks plus the OEL tyre pressure upgrade etc. |
Power, beauty, soul > pure Aston Martin. I like the original much better, "pure Aston martin" sounds cheesy instead of tactful, non substance elitist instead of genuinely classy, and marketing fluff spin instead of simple and sincerely profound.
Somethings should be left unchanged even if iterative evolution is underway. |
Were all the 2010 models = "pure aston martin"? Or only certain models?
Im looking at 2009 and 2010 V8 Vantages. I like "Power Beauty Soul" |
