(40 Images) Cars and Coffee/Keels and Wheels - Houston 05-04-2013
Good afternoon,
Today I attended both Cars and Coffee at Vintage Park near Tomball, followed by Keels and Wheels in Seabrook.
Cars and Coffee
Very large turnout today in spite of multiple competing events today. Lighter than last month, still I'd estimate 1,400-1,500 cars
As always, this isn't art, just quick photos.
175 photos can be found here

My car is center of this photo, 6:45 am
The front lot, 6:52 am
The End
Next, Keels and Wheels
After a full morning of Cars and Coffee in Tomball, I spent a few hours at Keels and Wheels, a car/boat show at Lakewood
All of my 227 pictures of the event are here

As always, I’m not making art, I’m just capturing what I see…
By design or accident, Stutz seems to be the spotlight Marque for this year, and there were quite a few in attendance, coupled with Auburn, Pierce Arrow, Rolls Royce, Corvette, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Jaguar, numerous street rods and customs, plus a broad range of boats.
So here we go….
An Allard
1969 Farago
Maserati
Bryan Fuller (Fuller Hot Rods, Overhaulin, Two Guys Garage) had 2 cars there including his personal Cadillac
Boyd Coddington’s famous Boydair
I have NO idea….
Local Aston Dealer was here

I'm sorry we didn't cross paths. The blue DB9 on my other side was from the used car stock of an Audi dealer, the guy with it worked at their dealership.
I figured out that 6:45 am was the magic time to arrive and get a spot where I was today, but 7:15 am arrival gets you a spot in the very back. Guess that means 6:45 arrival is my new target from now on.

I think I was there a couple of minutes behind you and ended up down the side.
Thanks for the pic. Looking shiny. Can almost see you in the bumper. Lol.
Always a fun event seeing so many enthusiastic people. 6 or 7 Astons there this time?

I photographed 6, but as you know the turnover of cars is relatively high so unless you walk the venue constantly, you miss cars. In fact, there are several in your photos that I never came across in spite of my constant walking.

This was cool. The owner (pictured) bought this little Honda 30+ years in Canada. It was next to a big 1950's Merc saloon of the same colour and genuinely looked as if it could have come out of its trunk.
