2013 Pebble Beach-Monterey Event Photos

The week started with the 25th Anniversary Dinner for the Blackhawk Automotive Museum in Danville on Saturday evening, August 10th. Dr. and Mrs. Bez were in attendance with other Aston notables.
I apologize in advance for the poor quality interior photos; hope to post better ones in a few days.

A few of the 14 or so Astons participating in the Tour de Elegance on Thursday morning, ending up on Ocean Avenue in Carmel

We also went to the Pacific Grove Concours & Auto Rally (CAR) Friday afternoon, a charity event benefiting the youth groups of the area.

Thanks to Richard P. for providing a video of a portion of the event; the action starts about one minute in...

The rally route was along the 17 mile drive and went through Ocean Avenue in Carmel; most enjoyable were some spectators holding "judging cards" similar to those used in Olympic diving and gymnastic events (1-10)

Aston Martin was the featured marque this year for the 19th Annual running of this event; The rally was led by two vintage Pacific Grove police cars, followed by a beautiful 30's Packard Phaeton and then a group of five Astons, followed by over 200 cars.

Additional event information can be found using:
http://pgrotary.org/lawyer/About-the...lly_cp8083.htm

I personally enjoyed this event more than any recent outing we've been on.

Here's a link to another photo posting, which also includes some shots from the Historic Races on Saturday, which we didn't attend.

Thanks for sharing! I didn't make it to this year's Estate. What cars did they have there for test drives if I may ask? Was there an issue with booking test drives (as is every year)?

Well-There were supposed to be morning test drives available for the AMOC members present, but we were told that another group would be driving the cars

Most missed was the driving simulator that was present last year...nowhere to be seen this year. I missed out last year and was looking forward to trying it this year, along with many others.

Overall, it was still an enjoyable event and the big surprise was viewing the only One 77 in the States and The Goldfinger Aston and the CC100

There were two "escort vehicles", other than the two vintage police cars.

To me, it was a spectacular event at the mansion. Highlight to me was the original Bond car, and having Bez sign copy of Making Aston.
