Thanks for the comments guys!

The new springs are a tad bit stiffer than factory, but I like it. Definitely not jarring, seems a little bit tighter, and I have no complaints at all. :)

I've got my eye on the cats + filters. I have access to a dyno, so I'm hoping to be able to add a mod and get some before/after data. I am curious how much louder these machines get with an aftermarket muffler + high flow cats....hmm. :D

Anyone get the TCU remap and report back on shift performance?

H&R spring work great and they are comfortable. I bought my 07 with the H&R Springs on without realizing they were aftermarket till I went back to the AM Dealer!

Moved house and had some killer humps to clear and replaced the H&R with the stock recently. Not looking as good but at least I don't scrape the bottom anymore. Anyone wants a set of H&R springs?

Hah, if you had those springs last fall, I'd take them off your hands. Maybe just take a jackhammer and remove those speed bumps? :)

Meanwhile, I have some pics to share when I picked up the car from Jeff after about a week's worth of detailing...Jeff does amazing work, is incredibly detail oriented, and borderline OCD (like me). He's also got a pretty incredible Corvette! His garage setup blew me away--low profile custom welded aluminum ramps, mid-lift jack, tools and enough lighting to give a nice summer tan. :)

Your car is seriously beautiful. Wow.

I love your setup, Anthony. Would you please share wheel/tire size details? Are those HRE P40S wheels? Would love to duplicate it on my car (sincerest form of flattery!). How much lowering of the car do you think the springs accomplished over factory?

Thanks!

John

Hey John,

Thanks for the compliments! I got the set from another forum member DoubleLow7. The wheels are 20" x 11" (R), 20" x 9" (F), tires 255/30 (F), 305/25 (R). The H&R springs are supposed to drop the car 0.75" but I suspect it was a little bit more after some settling. I would guess more like an 1" lowering from stock.

Hope that helps, and post pics of your car!

Anthony

Thanks for the details, Anthony. I'll get some before and after pics once I get the wheels.
