2012.5 v12 vantage carbon black
Hello everyone, need some insight on this no 23 of 40 cb v12 that was recently traded on new vanquish. It all started with me taking my 2012 vantage s in for its second service, just turned 6k. And here in the parking lot is this blacked out v12, low miles (really low). Turns out ... I just had to ask to drive it.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Feels smoother, lighter than my v8s, no to mention faster!! Anyways do y'all see these last 6speed models holding there value? Any pros/cons vs the v8s? V12 owners please help! |

There is no link, not advertised yet. It was literally just traded in days ago.

I have number 15 out of 40. Its Azurite Black with Obsidian Black interior. The car is absolutely awesome. Currently it's sleeping in the garage due to this abysmal winter. Having owned a 2007 V8 coupe formerly I would say there is no comparison. In the long run it may hold value better but I really don't care. It's the car I've always wanted, a manual transmission V12.
What is the VIN? Henry |
The V12 will hold value much better than the V8s. However, you will have to take into account the hit you will take on the S. There is no comparison between the driving dynamics of the cars. The V12 wins easily. What are they asking for the car?
|
I sold my V8 for a V12 a few years back. I could not be happier, the two cars are very different, even though they share the same platform.
There is nothing else on the market like this car. Where else can you get a car that is the size of a Porsche Cayman (1/2 longer, 3" wider. 1" shorter) that has a av12 motor, a 6 speed , carbon brakes with fantastic feel and some of the best hydraulic steering you can find? |
Thanks for the replies guys,
HenryM - have not had a chance to get the vin. V!2 - they're asking 165k, car has 537miles Still negotiating, should know something today if I decide to go forward:D |
Wow 2 years old and still not broken in!
|
The car isn't 2 years old. These final V12 Vantages where manufactured in November and December of 2012. They really should be 2013 model year cars. They have back-up cameras, auto headlights, rain sensing windshield wipers, and all the carbon bits that Aston offers. The only thing they don't have is the newer tire pressure monitoring system with the tire pressure display in the trip computer window.

Yep, i believe this one has the glass switches also:)
Henry, what do you think about the price? Ive seen others a little lower, some higher. Most with about 2k miles and up |
Offer the dealer 150 and work up from there. If you are lucky they will take 150. Never hurts to asks!
With all the problems Porsche is having right now, I'm really tempted to get a V12V. Don't worry I'm not going to try to get it from under you :) |
You should be able to buy the car for $150-155. The question is what will they give you for the S?
|
They are offering 100k for my S with 6k miles and an additional 1 year warranty on the v12.
This would give me 3 full years of warranty. |
Is the $100 against the $165 they want for their car?
|
yes trade difference 0f 65k.
