It works so well! Exceeded my expectations! It add Bluetooth streaming without the Schoche passport. Also you can control your whole iPhone like you would as you had it connected. All playlist, artist info show up.

Ya its a great device, they have similar copy cat ones on ebay for $25-30, all work pretty well. The only limitation is the 33foot radius (not an issue in cars, but for ipod dock use at home it can be limiting).

 

I received mine recently but I didn't have a chance to shoot the video.

It works with:

• iPhone 4 - playlists, songs name, etc.. appear
• Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8, Nexus 7 - no playlist or song names appear, but you can change songs with steering controls.
• Windows Surface Pro, RT, or any Bluetooth enabled laptop - same as above, but the first time you connect, you have to change your audio output in "Windows Playback devices". Second time you connect, it will automatically switch to proper audio output.

With all devices above, you can stream music from anywhere; Xbox music, Sony Unlimited music, internet radio, YouTube, Pandora, etc..

It can be plugged it at all times.

Those cheap ones don't work. I tried 2 and both failed every with schoche passport

Well... not quite but it brings it closer. A nicer screen with a media center ala BMW would be nice. The monochromatic 3 line display in the dash is pretty sad

Does anyone get weird behavior while going through spotify (free shuffle mode)?

 

Looks like there's a WMA3000 now but it's hard to tell what the difference is. Any ideas?

 

WMA3000 has the cable to connect to your car built-in, otherwise functionality is the same.

I picked up the WMA1000 for my V8V and 2010 C63, product works perfectly well.

 

Have it in all my cars and love it!!! A must buy!

 

Thanks guys. I don't suppose there's a solution which will show track names with Android? That's the only thing that seems missing.

 

FYI:

After reading this post I decided to order the WMA3000A instead. Unfortunately, once it got here, I discovered that it would NOT work on my Vantage! The Tune2Air connector is actually a fraction smaller than the one on the AM factory cable & despite my best efforts I was unable to plug it in! :-(

I ultimately wound up exchanging it for a WMA1000 instead.

Just a head's up.
