Cabin Filter for Aston Martin Vantage
#32
I will do a installation writeup for the filters. I am going to go ahead and and order them along with the mild2wild & leather dash puller tools off amazon and do separate writeups for everything.
$16 shipped for the pair of charcoal filters is more than worth it to do something that needs to be done anyways. Will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks,
007

I know it has been ages, but I was wondering if the carbon filters you bought at $16 did fit at the end. Velocity AP doesn't offer cabin filters on their website anymore it seems.
Cheers,
Floris

Thanks Era, but Redpants shop is offline for a while. Rich and his family are relocating to Florida and his online shop won't be open for another month. I'm in the US in two weeks and was hoping to get them during that time (I live in Hong Kong and can only get them from the AM dealer)

Hey Guys,
I just completed the cabin air filter replacement diy. Pretty straight forward process, thanks ReD Pants for the video! I want to add a pro tip on the reinstall of the glove box. Put the upper portion of the surround on first but don’t tighten the upper screws all the way down. Then install the middle screw first on the bottom(hinge), then the outer ones. This makes it easy to line up the surround. Here is the best part, I ordered off of Amazon the cabin filters for $16.54 with prime shipping! They are exactly same as the OEM. Here is the link.

Thanks SVX! I think I will give those a try. I saw you just bought a V8 Vantage. Me too!, a 2006 Tungsten Grey one, my dream car too. I’m based in Hong Kong. Hard to get AM parts here other than via the dealer. Enjoy your new ride. ;-)

I didn't know about that site... but amazon has 2 day shipping and an easy return policy. Thanks for finding some for even cheaper!

Are the cabin air filters for a V8V the same as a DB9 (2011)? My apologies for jumping into a thread as a new member without an introduction yet but as a service is on the cards for as soon as the snows off the ground, this is a relevant discussion for me.
