Hello everyone.
Just joined the Aston Martin club with a new purchase.
2012 Virage Volante.
Arctic White with Sahara Tan.
Fantastic vehicle that came with a very low 700 kms.

I have seen that there is a bunch of Aston Martin owners from Toronto to this site yet there is never a function for everyone to meet.
Would be great if we could organize something no matter how big or small.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks

gorgeous car and love the wheels!

Thanks very much.
Traded in a 2007 Porsche Turbo on this car.
2 completely different vehicles and I much prefer this one.

You are going to love it.

That car is gorgeous! Nice choice!

N91K 08-03-2014 02:02 PM

Wow that looks amazing!

Would love to know more about the comparison between the new and old car.

The Porsche is really a track car. Crazy fast and great handling. Felt light at high speeds and had a very noisy as well as stiff ride.
Definitely a young man's ride. I had it for 7 years and really drove it hard a few days before trade in. I really respected the engineering afterwards.
In comparison the Aston feels heavier and more stable. The acceleration is linear due to the fact that there is no turbo.
The sound from the Aston sounds like a real sports car unlike the Porsche that just made noise. I can't compare rigidity since the Porsche was a hard top unlike the Aston.
The Aston has a quite ride which makes it a pleasure to drive on any surface.
It's definitely a Grand Tourer.
In conclusion I would have to say that both cars are vastly different and set up for two distinct customers.
Hope that sheds some light on my reasons for trading in the Porsche.
Let me know if there is some specific question that I can answer for you.

Thanks for telling me more about both cars, I've only driven a Cayman (non S) it wasn't fast but it felt light and i didn't like the sound and the engine sitting behind my head but the 911 is another story in terms of speed/handling!

I'm glad it worked out for you and that you are loving the Aston. Enjoy!
