Porterfield R4-S Low Dust Pads for Vantage S, & 2013-on V8 Vantage from VelocityAP
I see a post reference to sensor slots being incorrect earlier in this thread, but didn't see any outcome to the issue.
I just installed some Porterfield R4-S pads on my 08 DB9 that I got from Velocity AP and half the sensor slots are in the wrong location. The sensor still fits in the actual pad but because of location the sensor wire no longer fits in the groove in the caliper.
When you had the sensor slots in the wrong location, what did you end up doing with the sensor wires? I'm afraid they're going to rub on the inside of the wheel or flap around till they fatigue and break if they can't be tucked into the caliper groove.

I just installed these pads in my Vantage and first of all, the dust reduction compared to the stock pads is huge. I have 3 days of driving since cleaning my wheels and they still look clean. The stock pads made the wheels black within 30 minutes of driving. Braking performance seems pretty similar to stock; the pedal feels the same, stopping distance seems the same. The pads still squeal a little but it seems like as the miles on them accumulate the squealing is decreasing.
Regarding the wear sensor wires, on my car the right front and left rear sensor wires fit like stock. The left front one I used bit of safety wire in a loop around the sensor wire and the top part of the bridge spring to hold the wire in place. The right rear puts the sensor in a location where the wire for it was pulled tight enough to not need any extra support.

I had originally thought zip ties because that's what I happen to have in my garage at the time, but I wasn't sure how they'd hold up to the heat. Same goes for the airplane or speed tape. I ended up going with some stainless lockwire.
They hold up to the heat fine with no worries. I have mine tucked away and zip tied on my race car as well so no problems with zip ties.
Okay guys, it's sorted. We can now supply full pad sets for the late model cars fitted with the 380mm front rotors & 6-piston calipers.

They should already be offered at the discounted price on our site, permanently on sale!

Thanks. Stuart offered the same to me, but I've been driving a bit and everything seems absolutely fine, so I am going to leave it alone and enjoy the silent and dust free experience of these Porterfields. Sooooo nice to drive the car and be able to stop silently! Increases my enjoyment of the car 1000%.
