replacing coolant V8 Vantage

looking for some advise (again) I want to drain the coolant and replace with fresh coolant antifreeze mix 50/50 water and the balance Everon Red (rated to raise the boiling point to +129 Degrees C
I have looked at the manual and its rather vague, is it as simple as removing the drain screw and the filler cap? Can i put a garden hose into the system and flush it? is it a good idea when the car is not having any overheating problems? my thinking after seeing a bit of old coolant come out of a small Diesel generating set that was overhauled at my home is that the coolant seems to become very dirty.
My car has 27800Km and Im not sure if when it was warranty serviced if this was done? (I asked about replacing the break fluid and basically told that is a waste of time with the new silicon fluids used nowdays) so now that im out of warranty i wish to consider a bit of DIY

My 2009 Vantage is due for coolant change and I am also interested in the proper procedure. The factory shop manual indeed is of no use. I am guessing that we may need to flush, fill then run to operating temp and flush again as I see no way to drain the entire system. I wonder if there is a air bleed procedure?
