2009 Vantage - Low beam bulb replacement
2009 Vantage - Low beam bulb replacement
Want to see if someone can help me out here, did a search but didn't yield anything good. I've tried accessing the headlight from the back through the wheel well access cover without removing the wheel and it's pretty tight. Issue I've faced is the plastic cover in the back of the headlight housing that seems to have two screws holding it in place, I can't get to one of those screws.
Question is can I get more access by removing the engine bay top plastic cover? If not then I'll just have to remove the wheel and go from there but would like to see my options before I start removing things and potentially cracking old plastics.
On a side note my car didn't come with Xenon, so my ultimate goal is to have a look at the space available in the headlight housing to decide whether I'd get a xenon kit.
Thanks

You won't get access by removing the slam panel at the front of the engine bay (BTW, it's metal). Wheel off is your best bet.
There was a recent thread on Pistonheads concerning headlight conversion, though I seem to recall that was adding xenon high-beam to an existing xenon low-beam setup.
