While not in LA, 05 DB9 oil change was $429 in Northern California in September at an indie. Included OE filter, plug and oil.

Thanks. They said they use 5w/50 Castrol Edge Synthetic or Liqui Moly German Synthetic10/60 (SYNTHOIL RaceTech GT)

What do you think? Is it ok or find another shop shop that uses the Castrol 10w-60.

Perhaps I'm not picky enough.
They know Aston Martins. They have a friend who is a mechanic at Galpin Aston Martin so if they run into mysteries, they ask him for any inside info.

As for which oil? I really couldn't say.

I just had my oil changed at TRG:
http://trg-astonmartinracing.com

They used royal purple oil 10w60. I figure if it's good enough for the race cars, it should be good for my street car.

Similar to above: $425 or so.

Price was much better than what was quoted to me from the dealership. I felt the tech was very competent as he pointed out many things about my car while on the lift and knew the vantage engine and suspension inside out.

The GT4 program manager was very friendly and as you can see in the pictures, the cars and the garage was an amazing sight to see. I highly recommend.

hey guys, sorry to revive an old thread. but seeing that there's already a thread about Passadena Motor, I figured NOT to create a new one. anyone else have experience with these guys?

my "new to me" 09 Vantage service light hasn't come on yet, but after putting about 3500 miles the last 4 months driving it daily, I am definitely starting to think about where to take the car for future service. I've heard that ASM Fluids cannot be service by indie because it needs a AMDS from the dealer. is that true?

just looking for more feedback on Passadena Mortor cars. thanks! and if anyone can provide a rough estimate on what they charge for service that'll be great. thanks!

I don't think you'll find the dealer quote all that much higher than the indi, when you're within $100, I'm sticking with the dealer. If you've followed my issue, you might agree it's not a bad decision.

I love Newport Beach, friendly, smaller, more intimate, good people. Galpin, is huge, still good guys but I like the more intimate setting of NB and a dedicated Aston service department.
