Nice, but you're opting for the non-reversible option....

Keen to see the final result.

Wow so its real CF, thought you were just doing a CF wrap, but this is CF wrap, literally haha

Just say the work is being done by [this company]. Don't post any active link to their site.

That looks good. Are you doing anything with the buttons?

Looking fwd to seeing the completed project, wish it was mine.
What does this type of work cost?

terminal_ac 01-13-2016 08:37 AM

This, in my humble opinion, is the best way to do it. I've been exploring getting mine done, but I can't locate a vendor that's willing to do it at a reasonable cost.

Please inbox your vendor.

That wont be an issue. Its going to look factory :) However i did keep my top ski slope just in case and bought a damaged one on ebay that i sent to have covered. The other two panels are relatively cheap to find if i need to go back to OEM.

Yes Ive had this process done in the past and parts come out looking factory. They lay real carbon over plastic or metal panels. I mean they can lay it over anything, Ive seen motorcycle tanks covered and it looks like a fully carbon piece.

oCarbon is doing the work. As far as buttons, I have glass switches going in if that's what you mean...

Very very nice! This is in my to-do list as well... I like how you chose to do it all the way through and not just the fascia. Make sure they do a very high temp clear coat on it.

I started here with a 2K high temp ceramic coat... hopefully the engine bay won't cook it.

I'm getting ready to start working with a local company as well on a few things. Should be interesting.
