Hey Guys

I noticed oil drop from front part of the engine. When I checked it I've found good amount oil drop from timing cover. Luckily my warranty will cover the repair(currently car is at Galpin Aston Martin) I thought new 4.7 engine didn't have this problem. Only have under 6k mile on my car.
Has anyone else have this issue?

Ron, Yes I'm using John at Galpin.

 

I'm not paying for it, still under factory warranty. I'll ask service adviser how much they charge $$$$ when I pick up the car.

 

First case I've heard of on the 4.7L. I'll be curious as to what they find when they open it up.

 

I purchased a 2013 Vantage, pre-owned, that had the timing cover leak fixed.

 

Is this a known problem on the 4.7, especially in 2013?

 

Yes, same problem as the 4.3.
