New to me 2010 not yet deliv. Sport Pack?
2 Attachment(s)
Very recent purch of this whitey. Stellar PPI but no records survived the "used car store". Questions:
Is there a way to tell if this car has a sport pack from these pix? Is there a source to tell how the car was equipped from factory? Can you guys tell if it has been dropped? Can I get opinions on using spacers. I would like to fill up those wheel wells. I thought 2010 had red tail lights or was it a switch-over year? Thank you in advance for your help. Rick |
Those are the Sport Pack wheels, but those can be added separately.
Clear tail lights were an option at build, a retrofit, and as aftermarket. Send the VIN to Stuart@VelocityAP and he'll pull the build specs for you. |
The Clear tail light started at the end of 2009, your car look stock not drop. As Telum01 said Stuart will be able to pull the build specs and you will know all the option that came with the car as it left the factory. Looking forward to see more pictures once you take delivery, Congrats and welcome to the club

There are lots of ways to tell... you're right - Bilstein struts are likely the best indicator, but you can look at the part numbers on the sway bars, sway bar bushings, even control arms... but everything can be bought individually as retrofit items. VIN for build spec is just that, what was included at the time of build.
I'm more curious about how the OP has these questions for a car he already purchased! :) |
Hi Rick,
Congrats!!!! I know this car very well as I was interested in buying it. She is beautiful and was one of my two favorite cars for sale in the US. I researched the car and had couple links. You got lucky since I had this still in my phone browser. However I think you have the wheels but not the Sport Package. I was not able to find it even in older FS adds. Check out this older FS add: http://www.lamborghinidallas.com/use...#&gid=1&pid=50 The M&F pictures are terrible. EDIT: found another link: http://www.astonmartinofaustin.com/w...photos/492999/ |

My log in became corrupt when I tried to update it and for a week I couldn't receive emails nor did customer service reach out to me. Thank you for the links. I had seen the video and thought is was the same car but wasn't 100% sure. Why do you think the car only has the sport pack wheels but not the sport pack? Did you drive the car? What did they quote you for price. Cheers Rick |

Hi Zett

Thread: I finally did it :D I did not drive or inspected your car in Albuquerque but I called the dealer in the first 5 minutes the car was on the market. :) I was not sure if the car has the sport package and researched the old for sale adds. The car had four previous owners and none of the sale adds, even from Aston dealers, included Sport package in the options but "Ball brushed silver sport wheels" |
If it is the same car as the one in the posted ads, it does have the Sports Pack.
Looks great! |

Looks great! I got the build sheet from Stuart at Velocity and it indeed has the Sports Pack. I'm just curious how you could tell from photos. Thanks Rick |
I did the same thing as Stuart and checked the build sheet. No way other than wheels to distinguish. Glad you got it confirmed!

Love the sideskirts (N400 sills) on it, awesome looking car.
