What fuel are you using ???
 

I am just asking as here I can only find 91 octane without ethanol, I fueled up once with Sunoco Ultra94 (which has ethanol) and burned a full tank of fuel without any problem but since using Shell 91 VPower I got a few Emission CEL
P0133 [O2 Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1, Sensor 1)] and P0153 [O2 Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2, Sensor 1)].

My car is a 2009 AMV8 Vantage 6sp, thanks

Do you always fuel at the same place ?

I fuel up wherever I need it but I always get the highest octane they have . I go to the US a lot to pick up eBay purchases for the Healeys etc so if I go in the Vantage I always fill up there .
I have never had any of the codes you are getting .
If your lucky then maybe Irish will chime in with some input . He's our Canuck AM guru .

I always use 93 octane containing 10% ethanol. That's pretty much all you can get here for "premium", and that's what Shell sells here, too. A few places have 91 octane without ethanol as their "premium" but I would rather have the higher octane. I have an ECU tune from Velocity AP that is designed for 93+ octane.

I don't think your emissions codes are related to the fuel based on just one tankful but if it happened consistently several times then I would be more convinced.

Thanks guys, next fill up I will put some Sunoco 94 and see if the CEL comes back, the car only has 30,000km so very doubtful that the O2 sensor are done but I guess you never know. I never get the two CEL at the same time so far, got one then 3 wks later got the other one... I will keep an eye on it and if I find something with different fuel I will let you know.

I'm getting an Aston Martin in September, probably. I'll be using Sunoco that's for sure :D

i had the same codes last spring 2016, i use any premium 91 which ever
is lowest price but mostly shell v oct 91. i changed the upstream
02 sensors for those banks .no codes since !thats over a year ago

I really wish I had a place to get ethanol-free gas locally. Ethanol is TERRIBLE for gas unless the motor is specifically designed for it.

Mine were shot at just under 12,000 miles (about 19,000km?).

I'm still new to the game and just filled the second time yesterday. (she drinks like there is no tomorrow :D )

First fill was 91 Octane (highest premium at Wawa) and yesterday 93 at a Racetrack. Both refills with ethanol.

Both gas stations are on my way and offer ethanol free gas.
Would you rather go for the 89 without ethanol than 93 with ethanol?

Our cars are new enough that 10% ethanol blends won't hurt them. I would choose 93 octane with ethanol over 91 octane without.

I would not use 89 octane gas in my Aston except in an emergency where nothing else was available.

You are right.
I always use highest available premium and all engines should be designed to work with e10 content.

I'm just wondering why Telum would go lower Octane to spare the e10.

I never said I'd go with a lower-grade gas to get rid of ethanol content :confused:

Since Ethanol free gas always has lower octanes around here in Florida, I was the impression you would go for the lower grade.
