Dash Topper Anguish

I am trying to get a dash mat/topper for my DB9. No one has any patterns. I have these on ALL of my good cars and they are worth their weight in gold. One that matches and fits properly would do wonders for our cars in terms of keeping the dash from being scorched. They do not look bad at all if they are well made and fitted. Anyone have one of these from a company that I haven't inquired upon yet?

Maybe they're not available because they're tacky and good taste prevents manufacturers from making ones for an Aston ;). Why not invest in a high-quality reflective windshield cover you can put up when parked in the sun instead?

They are not tacky if done properly.....I already own a shield.....Kind of hard to drive with it in the up position. Frankly, I expected a classier response. One should not speak about something one knows little about.

I've thought of doing something too. Dash gloss black and can get quite a glare in my face when the sun at the right spot.
But as to Karl, I've only seen ones that look like carpet remnants. Nothing I'd put in my car.

I'd like to see an example of something that doesn't look cheap and ugly. Does such a thing exist? I've changed the front most two panels to Alcantara which won't be impacted by the sun, and I use a sun shade when I park. Problem solved.

I've had (black) cars in the Chicago area and 16 years in California which is far worse. I used a sunshade, I would never ever use a topper. If I did, it would be only when parked and it will still let in the sun and I'd still have to move it when driving.

i can't imagine anyone uses those anymore, much less in an Aston Martin!

You see, Don? It's not just me. :)
