Vantage Side Skirt comparsion

Not sure if this is a good idea but here it goes.
There are several different options on side skirts and splitter for the Vantage available.

Lets start an overview with name, material (weight if available) and picture to start.

Everyone can contribute and I'll update OP accordingly.
I tried to find light car colors that reflect the skirt change best.

I'll have them weighed vs the early V8V originals when they get here.

Worth noting, the AMV8Vs has the same side skirts as the V12.

Telum01, How much did they ended costing you?? As I would like to get a set also, and where did you buy them.

Since not all vendors are forum sponsors, I'm sure this is not allowed. :(

do these bolt on to your side skirts you have on now? or will you have to take them off to get them to fit properly then reinstall? or are they completely new sides?

I believe they are like all others, remove the original and put these it their place and due that they are from Aston Martin, they should be a perfect fit. It's always a good idea to test fit any new parts before getting them painted to match your car.

I think the GT4 Telum posted are whole side skirt panels but there were couple splitters in my OP what are just add to the existing OEM skirts.

those are nice and simple, are the meteor ones the same way or a pop off and replace?

btw i just watched an entire video on how to remove side skirts and wow, quite the involved process!

here it is for anyone attempting this

The GT4 side skirts have the carbon fiber rib molded into them, and completely replace the existing side skirts. The carbon fiber isn't attached to the bottom like the V Collection or Hamann ones.

I've had Astons with all the different OEM side skirt styles. I think the N400 after still my favorite.

larryg 07-22-2016 04:22 AM

My 2014 V8V came with the N400 style which in my opinion fits the lines of the car perfectly.

akshon 07-22-2016 03:56 PM

v12 and later v8vs style side skirts are the best imo. the gt4 side skirts are the same shape but with a carbon insert and actually made of carbon so very light and very expensive.
