Hi all

Trying to find what is the "market value for my car. It's time to renew insurance on Aston & Wawanesa price went up $400. Dont have any tickets or accidents. I'm trying to get some quotes from other ins co, but having hard time to find market value for my car. Question is how much would insurance co will pay me if my car becomes total loss. KBB is not showing any value. Any idea where insurance co will look for replacement $$$$ ?
BTW-2013 V8 Vantage with 6spd, 6k miles.,

Look at comparable cars currently for sale, that's the easiest way with accessible public data.

 

Two ways:

1. Check auction bid prices on ebaymotors.com and auto listings online.
2. Check KBB.com values and compare for trade-in, private party and retail sales.

 

Have you gotten a quote from Grundy yet? You get to name the value there.

 

Nope I made offer at AM San Diego that was rejected but not surprised as others had same experience.

 

typically, if you present reasonable valuations (what you see cars changing hands for or slightly above), the insurance company will sign on with good photos. i've used several companies for agreed value over the years and my value requests have never been turned down. currently with hagerty.
