Does anyone know how to remove this little bottle cap pin so I can remove the interior door handle? Im getting a carbon fiber piece made.

it looks like it has to be pushed back up but I am not 100% sure... I will have to remove mine also over the winter months so if you find out how please let me know. Thanks

I think if you release the spring (seen in last picture) then you can push it out

Figured it out. Spring has nothing to do with it as it turns out because the spring is merely held in place by the pin itself. Just grab a good pair of needle nose pliers and grab the pin here, and force it out (obviously in the direction of the bottle cap as the other end is closed off). Mine was a little stuck, so I actually took a sharp flathead screwdriver at the point marked with the arrow and tapped with a hammer in the direction going out.

I'm having the pulls and handles (which are easily removed by removing the spring mechanism once the pin is removed), door sills, exterior handles, exterior mirror caps, window switches and 20 other parts (including the speedster humps) skinned in real 2x2 twill carbon fiber.
