Another British Car
2 Attachment(s)
I have always had an interest in British cars. My first car was a 1953 MGTD. In later years, I added a 1970 Jaguar E-Type roadster (along with an '87 911 cab) which are all great summer rides but several years ago I got the itch for something new - my wife understands. I started out exploring the idea of acquiring a DB7 but after reading Grant Neal's Definitive Guide to Gaydon Era Aston Martin's (and following this forum) I decided that an 09 (4.7) Vantage roadster (silver) with MT was the right car for me. After looking at scores of online listings and dealer offerings I recently purchased a Titanium Silver 09 roadster, black interior, MT, sport wheels, premium audio, etc. with 8900 miles on it. It is a beautiful car (I feel more like a caretaker than an owner) and a blast to drive. For good measure, I intend to get a radiator, brake and clutch fluid flush before it goes up for the (upstate NY) winter.
