DIY using a tinting spray or laminate would be the cheapest way. Just tape off everything but the lens and spray them (I'd suggest removing them from the car before you do this!), let them dry, then remove the tape and you're set. Laminate is a bit trickier because it needs to be applied just right.
You can also have them done professionally, which will probably give you the best results but at a higher cost.
I'm about to buy a bunch of side repeaters and have them professionally tinted, along with replacing the orange bulbs with clear ones. I'm using OEM side repeaters, though, so the price is going to be a bit more than the eBay ones.

Buy the smoked Ford-ones from the Puma; I got these and they are identical to OEM. Check the webs "Ford Puma 1.7 Smoke Side Repeater Indicators".
