Eric - we won't switch the seats until the harness bar comes in. Rich weighed his some time back.

From "Time to get nimble"

OEM seat and hardware weighed in at 58.5 lbs.

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...nimble-11.html
Using Rich's numbers a Nogaro is 25 lbs lighter than an OEM seat.

Eric - the cloud you see on the side of the seat is the reflection of the plastic bag laying next to it

thanks Cliff. I knew I had seen it somewhere, and I will blame being to tired/lazy with a 1 week old in the house to have looked it up. Thank you for providing he link.

I was was actually hoping we would see closer to 70lbs saved across both seats.

You can get the additional 20 lb reduction. Ordered n CF without leather, it will be an additional $250.00 per lb of reduction.

Cliff-Were you able to figure out how to connect the std 3 point lap belt? I'm assuming it connects to the area I circled below in red?

Did Cobra supply plugs with resistors to prevent the airbag light from going off?
Thanks!

No they did not - I am counting on you to figure all of that out.

I fitted the Cobra Nogaro's into my car. See pictures below.

Make sure you fit the seat belt bolt before installing the seat onto the rails or you struggle to get a tool in to fix it (I also used some stud lock to avoid bolt coming loose).

Also, ensure the seat belt latches (either side of the centre console) are in position before screwing down the seat into the car, otherwise you cant get them in position afterwards (hidden below the inner seat lip)

Due to the car floor rising at the front, I had to bend the seat position adjuster upwards so I could get my fingers underneath to pull it up.

Finally, not sure if you have fitted a resister to stop the airbag warning light coming on. This was done for me, so not sure what is involved.

Will the airbag warning light still come on if you're swapping in fixed seats but retaining the factory seat belt? I thought that was just if you are ditching the factory seat belt for harnesses.

There is a side-airbag in the upright part of the stock seat, which pops on the side towards the door and thus insulates you from side impact.
This airbag needs to be simulted by a resistor.

Easy enough to make if you source a 2-3 Ohm resister to complete the circuit. Lots of them for sale online. Nothing to do with or get profit but here is a nice example. they are great for diagnosing the SRS system for outer cars also.

We still don't know where to jump it, but I am hoping with the manual we can figure it out.
