Redpants Project Cars!

This first post is going to get updated from time to time showing the current state of the cars, and the second post will be something of a table of contents.

Both cars are 2007 V8 Vantages with manual transmissions. I've had the Mercury Silver one since 2011 and bought the [Ferrari red] Rosso Corsa one in 2017. Why two of the same car? Although Redpants' origin was in the grey car, I had already modified it extensively before starting this company. So I'll be using the red one to develop and showcase a number of Redpants products as well as use it for DIY guides and videos while I fix a few issues that it has.

Always amuses me when I see these types of posts. A little bit of education goes a long way....both the SportShift and stick shift Vantages have the same transmission, the Graziano 6 speed transaxle. The only difference is one uses smart shifting performed by a computer and the other uses the idiot behind the wheel!

Your computer doesn't know whether I intend to accelerate hard out of a corner, unless I was accelerating hard going into it. Until computers can read minds, I'm still the best at knowing my own intentions.

But whatever makes you feel better about not knowing how to operate a clutch...

Sorry, Rich! The cars are beautiful. I look forward to seeing what they have done!

I've toyed around with getting an earlier Vantage to modify, but then I remind myself that that's what the 73' Datsun 240Z is for and my conscience takes over. lol

Is that what you put in the nice little pocket on the center console where the gear lever would've gone?

Rich asked us to stop, so I'm done.
