Big thanks to Richard at Redpants.lol for being one of the best vendors ive seen in a very long time. ordered a whole bunch of parts, arrived on time. combined with his youtube video's and his helpful nature was able to get everything done. I even contacted him in the middle of the service for a quick question and he answered immedieatly. This was on a Sunday. Amazing.

also thanks to my mobile mechanic, Tim from Zeiten. He works only on BMW's and i convinced him to work on the Aston! He was happily able to do it.

We did the following:
1. Oil Change
2. Engine Filter
3. Cabin FIlter
4. Door Struts
5. Brake Fluid Flush

and all done in my driveway!

Car felt a lot smoother and drove great!

Biggest suprise was that car was last serviced at Newport Beach Aston Martin (also a Jag dealer). They used a$5 Bosch Filter instead of the Aston Filter! I guess no more oil changes at dealers anymore!

I was quoted an hour and a half of labor ($170/hr) + materials to do the cabin filter and wiper blade replacement... I was like... uhhhh I think I'll do that myself

I've done my last two annual services myself and really the Aston isn't bad to work on at all. I also did a brake flush last year and it's just like any other car in principle. Hopefully you flushed the clutch fluid at the same time, it's just one more bleed nipple.

Well done!
I am always in awe when someone is able to work on their cars in the driveway. I have a 3 car garage and it always feels too small whenever I have to work on the Aston.

It freaks me out to see your head under the side of a car held up with just the jack that's half way onto the grass. Please don't do that again.

Jack was on concrete. Plus other side was raised. Thats my mechanic. He's worked on 4 of my other cars and it still freaks me out every time.
