Regional drives/get-togethers?

Ages ago, there was a BMW Z3 group that organized awesome group get-togethers and drives through the Texas Hill Country. Does anyone from this forum do something similar?

I get that production volume of AM is way below BMW, so something like a British group or exotic group could make sense for this. The Z3 crew were nice enough to let me still join them when I traded the BMW for an Esprit.

Had the same quandary when I purchased mine. Local Aston group was 3 hrs away. Googled British car clubs and found a few local ones. Ended up joining http://www.valleybritish.org/
Great group of guys. Have events year round and a big annual car show. A good mix of cars and people.

Every summer I try to get a bunch of Astons together - Cars & Coffee at the AutoPlex near Price's studio every first Saturday morning and about 4 or 5 afternoon drives to schmooze at a restaurant - we get anywhere from 2 to 6 Astons - this year likely a lot more here in Minneapolis

I have run the Texas Hill Country for the last eight years with the Porsche 928 guys. Beautiful area and great roads around Marble Falls. Last year was the first year with the Aston, but did not do the spirited driving event. Had to go to San Antonio that day. Anyway, if you put something together I'd be up for the trip down.

Regards,

Just like Old Phart , look for a British car club in your area , it will probably be a group with MGs ,Triumphs , Healeys ,Jags and the likes but they are always welcoming to anything British

Great group here in the Phoenix area mostly active in the winter months due to the influx of snowbirds but a really good club. Aston Martin Road runners club.

+1 on Cars & Coffee. I've met almost all of my friends in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) region from car events and Cars & Coffee gatherings.
