hi guys , really excited to have finally bought my 2009 vantage .
i have had the car shipped here and i went to get smog and everything passed apart from secondary air. Do you guys have a drive cycle or fix for this as the smog guy told me to go drive it and come back. is there a smog guy who can fix it ? Dealership also had no answers.....
many many thanks , my moving oermit is about to expire so im kind of desperate to get my tags.
thanks paul.

Yes, I'm the smog guy.(PREVIOUSLY "SMOGCLINIC")
I was warned by admin & had to change my name. ????? anyway.
If any time your car battery was disconnected, that would of caused all emission monitors to go NOT READY mode. From my experience on general cars, for air pump monitor- ecu runs self test when engine is cold. It may require few cold starts to get that monitor ready. IF after few cold start that monitor doesn't go ready mode, there might be some issues with system( pump, check valves, control solenoid & etc)
FIRST TRY FEW COLD STARTS & GO BACK TO YOUR SMOG GUY HAVE HIM CHECK IF MONITOR IS READY BEFORE DOING THE FULL TEST.

Congrats on a beautiful example. FYI, when I needed a smog check on my 2014 Vantage, Galpin recommended Eric's Smog Test on Victory Blvd in Reseda. I lived in Encino at the time so that worked for me....$63 and no issues. I will defer to 007JB and others for any technical input. Enjoy your Aston!

09...great year...yea...I have 09...haha welcome and enjoy...
it took me three drive cycles to rebuild after being stupid and cleared a sensor code...why three? The car checks the gas tank pressure every three the dealer told me...and takes this long to rebuild information cleared...
Good luck...good people helping you 007 JB and Rich
