New AM owner

Hey guys. I got my 08 Vantage roadster 3 weeks and I absolutely love it!!!
Hopefully someone can help me figure which exhaust I have. Please forgive my ignorance but I don't think I have a stock exhaust. There are no bypass valves that I can see. After googling pics it doesn't appear that I have a stock exhaust. It looks similar to the Quicksliver but I'm not 100 percent if it is.
Thanks. Here she is. Haven't gotten a chance to get better pics yet.

Is the exhaust loud when you hit the throttle hard? Reason I ask is that still looks like the stock box. Quicksilver is notoriously loud.

Great looking roadster! What color is that? Like it with the red calipers. Welcome and enjoy!

I don't know how it compares to stock but I would say it is pretty loud.

Thanks. It's Tempest blue. When I saw it the color of the car, red calipers, and black wheels, I thought it was the perfect color combo to me.

Looks like the stock exhaust. Being new to the car, you will probably need another similar model Austin Martin to compare.

I asked someone at Clemson what it could be and they said most likely the factory exhaust.

Seriously, a lot of the aftermarket boxes are much more polished up than your pic, but could be time and dirt. However, I believe the aftermarket ones are also slightly smaller.

Check to see if the exhaust valve fuse is pulled out. If not, make sure its still good. If its there, and its good, and you don't hear a marked change in sound when your moving from 3k to 4k rpm, then its possibly aftermarket. Factory with the fuse will open up between those rpms noticeably. The fuse taken out, makes the valves stay open all the time, so hence checking. TAVARISH on youtube has a video showing where the fuse is and what it is. Joke of a video, but for you has the right info to help you figure this out.

Hope this helps

I pulled the fuse out and can't really tell the difference. Where would the bypass valves be on the stock exhaust? I've looked at pics and I can't seem to find them.

Very early QuickSilver V8V systems did feature ribbed silencer casings, but it's hard to tell from your pictures.

The sound should give it away
