Red face Help srs airbag service urgent message

06 v8 vantage. I have a srs airbag service urgent light / message on my car. I also have a battery that recently started to exhibit signs of dying a slow death. (Windows trouble adjusting) (slow to turn over if not driven for a couple days)... my question is: is it possible that this srs airbag service notification is related to my battery issue? Does anyone here have experience with this? I tried adjusting both seats to clear the srs code but nothing helped. Thoughts?

Falcon75 is infamous around these parts
I had exactly the same problem last July on my 2006 V8 Vantage. After checking all fuses and the seats for something lodged under them without success, I took it to my dealership. It turned out to be a fault in the clock spring module located behind the steering wheel. They replaced the assembly and erased all codes. Everything is fine now. Total was $450.00 for parts and labor.
