Shocks/struts

I have a 2006 Vantage that has a leaking passenger rear shock. What are my options for replacements/upgrades? I have been hoping to use the Redpants coil-overs but am not sure when they will be production ready yet. Has anybody here used a Bilstien setup (B8?) with the Velocity lowering springs? I'm open to suggestions. I do not need coil-overs, but also not sure if there's a better shock alternative than what came on the car.

I went through this having several leaking shocks. The Aston does not have many options. And the ones available are expensive. The Redpants option is the BcRacing coulovers which after waiting close to a year they are still non existent. Don’t know if they ever will come out. I wanted to a lower setup as well but the ride sacrifice is big. Have not seen anyone say it’s a satisfying improvement. I ultimately bought a set of used factory coil overs from a car with 8k miles and kept it stock.

I woukd just just replace the one coil over. Look on eBay. For a used shock. Try and negotiate with a seller as they are asking $400 or more per shock which is 50% of a new one. Otherwise buy a new shock.

I was was disappointed with the lack of options for the Aston. But it is what it is. I’m happy now that I have my Aston back together with the factory setup.

Wish I had better news. But after a year this is what I learned.

Ive done the conversion to Bilstiens Sports Pack first tried the H&R springs but they were too low and crap!

Got some of the Velocity ones and the car is amazing

Do it if you can find a set, as the Bilsteins are rocking horse poooo
