'05 DB9 boot/trunk drains

I've read a few posts about people having wet trunk floors. I just got my car just over a month ago. I knew I was going to have to drive it today in heavy rains, so I wanted to check last night that the drains were not plugged up. The one in the gas filler checked out fine.

Some posts elsewhere talked about drain holes in the decklid itself causing issues. Here's a picture of mine in what I believe to be the location they are talking about..

Are they lacking because it's a 2005, or maybe they are only in the vantages or volantes. Is it possible the previous owner had them filled as a fix?
