Antenna again

As some might remember from my previous posts, I have struggled with the antenna on my 2007 Vantage for years.

The challenge was to find something that is aesthetic pleasing to replace that whip like thing on the roof.

Having tried the mini antennas etc., I might have finally found a solution. (Unfortunately I had to fabricate it.)

Below are a couple of photographs of the process.

Very nice and stays with the time period of the car. The shark fins just do not do it for me on these cars. I recently bought the stubby for the mini and for me it is quite an improvement, but yours is very nice. Can you share a little more detail and do You still have decent reception?

The entire process is on my website, however I have been told that I am not allowed to mention the link on this list. ( I will pm you the link which is also on the pistonheads discussion list)

Bernard that was really well done. If you want to see shark fins just look at every new car on the road

No way I would trade yours for a fin.

Do you have the thread size and pitch available? I bought a stubby antenna for a mini and it is the wrong size which wont thread into my '07 V8V
