Stuart - do you think it is possible to install the assembly then:

1) Disassemble hoop from stays
2) Remove hoop from car
3) Cut holes for stays in trim panel
4) Slide the trim panel over stays
5) Reinstall the hoop

The slots are not a big deal to me just wondering if it is possible not to slot the trim panel

Seems to me like it could be done. Measure twice, cut once

Looks like we finally made some progress on the front brakes - took a bunch of digging & detective work but we are finally moving forward with something that should clear the 18's.

So, with that said, we're going to have a bit of a fire sale of some of the OEM take off parts from this build, as well as the GT front Brake Kit:
  • OEM Carbon Front Splitter (fits 2011-on V8 and V12 Vantages, factory replacement or upgrade from plastic.) This part is in great shape, it's a low miles car.
  • OEM Carbon Ceramic Brake Caliper & Rotor Set. These are in fantastic shape, barely worn at all. Brand new set of OEM Pads. Includes caliper bracket, so these can be run on a V8 Vantage as an upgrade. Brand new, I think the Rotors + Pads are close to $20K replacement cost.
  • Brembo GT Front Brake Kit - 6 Piston Caliper in Black, 380mm Front 2 Piece Rotor (upgrade for 2006-2010 V8 Vantages) Has only been test fitted to the car for wheel clearance confirmation.

If anyone has interest email me at Stuart@VelocityAP.com before we post them on Ebay etc.

Well she's finally done! We had some issues with a certain supplier but after we got that sorted out Stuart and his crew were able to finish up the car easily and did a great job! My wife and I went up to Area 27 last weekend to test it out and then drove it back home. The car performed extremely well, compared to the stock suspension it handles noticeably flatter in the corners and sticks like glue. All of the work done on the car is top notch, usually you get more rattles and vibrations as a car becomes more track oriented but I think there are actually less than when the car was stock. Ride quality off the track is also very impressive, I was expecting a rougher ride but it's actually very comfortable on the street, so comfortable my wife actually commented on it while we were on the drive back. I'll try to post some on track videos from future track days but for now here are a few photos and a video of the car at Area 27 (which btw is an amazing track, if you have a chance to visit, do so...we're hoping to make a trip up every year if we can).

And here's the video:

They sure are, I really like the look and it's nice to run wheels that are reasonably priced. I've tracked a handful of cars over the years and nothing beats AM, really predictable, great feel, and a lot of fun! Looks like you're in CA so hopefully I'll run into you at the track one of these days.

Car came out incredible I’m sure it’s a blast to drive! Are you still running the same exhaust setup? (vap headers, secondary cats, x pipe, factory back box)? If so I’ll have the same setup on my DBS shortly, just missing the X pipe which I just ordered.

Side note the video isn’t working for me

While the car was in the shop I had them put one of their mufflers in place of the stock one, they tuned it to right around 96 dB so it still will pass most track restrictions and doesn't have any drone while cruising on the highway.

Sorry about the video link, try this one:
